PROTECTIVECLOTHING AGAINST LIQUID CHEMICALS
The standard specifies the minimum requirements for chemical protective suits for limited use (type 6). It provides limited protection against exposure to liquid aerosols, spray and light splashes of chemicals.
This protective clothing is intended for use in situations where the risk of injury is considered to be low, as the wearer would be able to take appropriate action in time if his clothing became contaminated. Protective clothing of this type forms the lowest performance level of chemical protection. Special chemicals must be tested in advance.
