Fire & flame protection
Robust workwear against heat and flame must meet the requirements of the EN ISO 11612 protection standard and must therefore protect the wearer of the workwear against the spread of flame and skin burns for the duration of the work. Protective workwear according to EN ISO 11612 is used for utility companies (such as electricity, water, district heating, gas or network technology) or serves as preventive workwear for disposal professionals for sludge, oil removal or material recycling. Even chemical and petrochemical companies or large refineries transport hazardous goods on a daily basis or work in the vicinity of hazardous goods and cannot carry out their activities without protective clothing that complies with the EN ISO 11612 standard. Protective clothing is also strictly prescribed for companies at risk of explosion and heat, such as steel or metal works, the automotive industry or glass processors. The right workwear for transport companies has special EN ISO 11612 properties in addition to warning protection properties, making it flame-resistant and heat-resistant workwear.
